This English text is for convenience. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Algemene voorwaarden
In brief
- An order is formed when you accept our written quote and pay a 30% deposit.
- Free reschedule or cancel up to 5 days before the session; after that, see article 7.
- Mix and mastering include 2 revision rounds as described on the service pages.
- We keep session files for 12 months unless agreed otherwise.
1. Scope and parties
These terms and conditions («terms») apply to all services provided by Nanigolixar B.V. («Nanigolixar», «we») to clients («you», «client»). Services include studio recording, mixing, mastering, podcast recording, band sessions and voice-over as described on services and the relevant service pages.
These terms apply together with the quote or order confirmation you accept. If they conflict, the quote prevails unless mandatory law says otherwise. Only written deviations signed by us bind us. By accepting a quote you confirm you could read these terms via legal notice.
Business clients sometimes provide personal data of guests or artists; our data processing agreement then applies to that processing.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Consumer | A natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. |
| Business client | A legal entity or natural person acting in the course of business. |
| Quote | Our written offer describing the service, date, duration, price incl. and excl. VAT, deposit and any special terms. |
| Session | The reserved studio time with an engineer, or agreed post-production work. |
| Business day | Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the Netherlands. |
| Deposit | 30% of the agreed price including VAT, due when the booking is confirmed. |
| Files | Recordings, session projects, mixes, masters and other digital deliverables. |
3. Quotes, booking and contract
Your enquiry via contact, phone or email leads to a quote. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Each quote states an expiry date; if none is given, the offer lapses after thirty calendar days. A session is firm once we receive your written acceptance and the deposit has reached our account; until then the slot may be offered to someone else.
For distance contracts we send confirmation on a durable medium (email) with the essential quote details. Browsing the site or sending a message without acceptance does not create a contract.
4. Prices
Published guide prices are in euros including 21% VAT, for example vocal recording from €121 per hour, mixing €290 per track, mastering €85 per single, podcast recording €95 per hour, band recording €145 per hour and voice-over €110 per hour. Business quotes also show amounts excluding VAT (e.g. €100 per hour for vocals).
The binding price is on the accepted quote. Extra studio time, stems, rush delivery or revisions beyond the included rounds are charged only if you confirm them in writing beforehand.
5. Payment
The deposit is 30% of the agreed price including VAT and is offset against the balance. Consumers pay the remainder on the session day or when post-production is delivered, by bank transfer or card in the studio.
Business clients pay within 14 days of the invoice date unless the quote states otherwise. Late payment may incur statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs under Dutch law.
Until full payment we may withhold final master files; session archives are handled under article 11.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers, distance)
If you are a consumer and conclude a distance contract (email, phone, form), you may withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons, unless a statutory exception applies. The period starts the day after the contract is formed.
If you ask us to start the session or post-production within those 14 days, you may still withdraw, but you then pay a proportionate amount for work performed until we receive your withdrawal notice.
Withdrawal is excluded once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal when performance is complete. Bespoke or clearly personalised audio may fall under statutory exceptions where applicable.
Send withdrawals to [email protected] or by post to Haarlemmerweg 247, 1051 LZ Amsterdam. We refund within 14 days using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.
7. Reschedule and cancellation by you
| Timing | Effect |
|---|---|
| More than 5 days before the session | Free reschedule or cancellation; on cancellation we refund the deposit within 14 days. |
| Within 5 days before the session | The deposit remains due; we offer one reschedule within three months if the diary allows. |
| No-show or late arrival | Reserved time remains billable; extension only if the schedule permits. |
Send requests in good time to [email protected] or 020 785 42 16. These rules do not limit the statutory right of withdrawal where it still applies.
8. Cancellation by Nanigolixar
If we must cancel because of illness, equipment failure or force majeure, we inform you as soon as possible and propose a new date. If no date suits, we refund all amounts paid within 14 days. We do not replace the booked engineer without discussing it with you.
9. Running sessions
Opening hours: Monday–Friday 09:00–23:00, Saturday 10:00–20:00, Sunday closed (night sessions on request).. The live room accommodates up to 8 people at once depending on the setup. Minimum age to book independently: 16 years; younger participants need written consent from a parent or guardian who also books and pays.
You treat gear and rooms carefully and follow engineer instructions. No smoking or vaping on the premises. We may stop a session if safety is at risk; reserved time remains due. Damage to studio property caused by intent or gross negligence is charged to the client.
Background on rights and roles: session rights overview.
10. Post-production, revisions and delivery
Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds as on mixing and mastering. One round means a single bundled list of notes processed together. A new artistic direction after approval or extra rounds are quoted separately.
Turnaround starts when we receive complete, usable source files. We normally deliver WAV 24-bit via download link unless the quote says otherwise. Mix budget guidance: mixing budget guide.
11. Files, archive and backup
We keep session and project files for 12 months after the last relevant activity, then delete them from our systems unless agreed otherwise in writing. You are responsible for your own backups once files are delivered. Longer storage can be agreed for a fee.
We take reasonable technical measures against loss but do not guarantee against hardware failure or force majeure; see also disclaimer.
12. Intellectual property
Your works. Music, lyrics and other material you supply remain yours or your licensors’. You warrant you have the rights to use all content, including samples, and handle collective-management notifications where required.
Recordings. Who initiates and pays for a recording is generally the producer under Dutch copyright law; we do not claim authorship in your music. To the extent we could claim neighbouring rights in raw takes made for you, we assign them to you after full payment where the law allows.
Performers. Fixing and exploiting performances requires performers’ consent. You obtain consent for band members, guest vocalists and voice talent you bring in.
AI and voice. We do not use client recordings to train AI models and create no voice clones without the person’s written consent.
References. We name your project as a reference only with your written approval.
13. Liability
We perform work with the care expected of a professional recording studio. Artistic outcome also depends on your preparation; see vocal prep before studio for tips. We do not guarantee chart success or commercial results.
Our liability is limited to direct damage caused by an attributable failure, except where mandatory law provides otherwise (including death or personal injury). For business clients, total liability per order is capped at the invoice amount including VAT for that order, unless there is intent or wilful recklessness.
14. Force majeure
Neither party must perform when prevented by force majeure (e.g. power outage, pandemic, government measure, serious breakdown). The affected party informs the other and reschedules where possible. If prevention lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate and we refund prepaid amounts for services not yet performed.
15. Personal data
We process personal data under our privacy policy. Manage cookie preferences via or cookie policy.
16. Complaints, disputes and law
Send complaints to [email protected]; we respond within a reasonable time. Consumers may use the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Dutch law applies to these terms. Mandatory consumer rights in your EU country of residence remain unaffected. Business disputes fall under the courts in the Amsterdam district unless mandatory law requires another forum.
17. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version on nanigolixar.digital dated 15 October 2026 applies to new orders after publication. We inform you of material changes during ongoing work. Questions: contact.
